Gary
Brooks is a trusted name in Hawke’s Bay real estate circles having been a
high-performing agent since he joined the industry in 1995.
Aligned
with leading family-owned company Bayleys since
1999, Gary’s
leadership qualities were quickly identified and recognised and he was a
founding team member of Bayleys’ Country division
that year and of the Viticulture division in 2003 – the year he also became
a shareholder of C.D. Realty, operating as Bayleys
Hawkes’ Bay.
He
has since gone on to complete the necessary real estate qualifications to
become Branch - and later - General Manager for the Napier-headquartered Bayleys operation and was further appointed as a Director
of the company in 2010.
Gary’s knowledge, extensive contacts, trustworthy
demeanour and most importantly – ability to close a deal - have seen him
rise to the top of his game in the competitive Hawke’s Bay real estate
environment.
“There
are no shortcuts in this business; time spent listening to my clients’ expectations
and translating that into a workable, timely solution with a solid
marketing plan behind it will reap rewards,” says Gary.
His
particular aptitude in selling forestry blocks, large scale sheep and
cattle properties and premium lifestyle blocks have contributed to his
status as a member of Bayleys’ prestigious 50
Million Dollar Club. He now heads up the residential and lifestyle division
in Napier while keeping an eye on Hawke’s Bay’s commercial operations as
well.
Gary’s ability to bring the best out of his team thanks
to the experience he offers is invaluable, but he still keeps his hand in
the sales arena putting his weight behind standout properties that
generally come his way through repeat business dealings or referrals. With
extensive national and off-shore databases to tap into, Gary’s commitment to finding the best
buyer for his clients’ while maximising the value of their assets is
realised. Trips by Gary to the UK with Bayleys’ Country team have generated strong contacts
there, increasing the reach of marketing campaigns for Hawke’s Bay
properties.
Hawke’s
Bay is in Gary’s
blood; he relishes the opportunity to live by the sea in Napier and is
quick to extol the virtues that the region is renowned for. What better
place for a keen fly fisher, hunter and diver to be based? And being a food
and wine lover, Hawke’s Bay again comes up trumps…
